Controls
Now when you play any type of game you will need to know the controls for it. So if you’re not sure on how to use all of the functions and controls of the Kingdom Hearts game have a look down below so you can find them out.
Triangle Button
You can use Triangle in a battle to command your other Party Members to attack the enemy you are Locked-On to. It's good to use this as a cry for help. Use Triangle also to pick the assigned spell in the Magic Shortcut Menu. (Hold L1)
Circle button
Cancel/Jump/Let go/Swim fast/Ascend when flying or swimming.
X Button
Attack an enemy or object. Use X also to pick the assigned spell in the Magic Shortcut Menu. (Hold L1)
Square Button
Descent when you are flying or when you are swimming. Use Square also to pick the assigned spell in the Magic Shortcut Menu. (Hold L1)
L1 Button
Hold this down to bring up the Magic Shortcut Menu.
R1 Button
Use the Lock-On or take it off.
L2 Button
Rotate the camera angle anticlockwise. You cannot use this when you are Locked On to something
R2 Button
Rotate the camera angle clockwise. You cannot use this when you are Locked-On to something
Left Analog Stick (L3)
Use this stick to move Sora on the screen. Depending on how much pressure you put on the L3 Stick depends on how fast Sora will move. L3 is also used to move the cursor over the different menus and options the game has to offer.
Right Analog Stick (R3)
You can use this to go through the On-Screen Menu.
Directional Buttons
Use these 4 buttons to move the cursor in the Main Menu and the Command Menu.
Start Button
This pauses the game. If you are not in a cutscene or a battle, it will take you to the Main Menu.
Select Button
This will bring you to 1st-Person-view where you can use L3 and look around.
